Version 1.14 Released January 13, 2004
SFScreenLock V1.1x is now effective on OS5 devices!
SFScreenLock is a simple SFX plugin extension that enables you to
"freeze" the screen display, enabling you to perform tasks without
updating the screen or causing flicker, then "unfreeze" the screen when
your tasks are complete.
NOTE: The screen locking function in SFScreenLock requires PalmOS 3.5 or
higher. If you attempt to call the ScreenLock method on a device
running on version of the PalmOS lower than 3.5, it is simply
ignored. However, it also does not work (and is silently
ignored) on the Visor Prism and Treo models. The modifications that Handspring has done in order to enable 16 bit
colour make the screen locking function unusable. It does work on other
16 bit colour devices such as the Palm M505 and Sony Clie T615C.
