DateTimeLock is a simple utility that disables the Date & Time
Preferences panel, thus preventing the device user from changing the
date or time. When the user attempts to access the Date & Time
Preferences panel, DateTimeLock simply displays a message informing them
that this function is disabled.
It is designed for use in a corporate environment where users are not
allowed to change device time & date as a policy. Firms that rely on
accurate dates and times (for example on time/date stamped barcode data)
often want to ensure that users do not change the device date/time as a
means of altering recorded data. DateTimeLock is designed specifically for
this situation.
The DateTimeLock developer utility is licensed on a per-device basis, meaning you need a license for each device it is installed on. Licenses are sold in blocks of 10, and the price shown is for 10 licenses. Discounts available on orders of more than 100 licenses, and custom versions are available. |
