SFDeviceID-PPC is a Satellite Forms plug-in extension that enables you to read the device unique ID on Windows Mobile/PocketPC devices.

You can use the DeviceID as a unique identifier for software registration purposes, or asset tracking, or unique record ID generation, etc.

NOTE: Apparently, some device manufacturers have released WM5 devices with the same "unique" ID, according to some online message boards: http://www.codecomments.com/message774381.html

A sample application is provided that demonstrates how to use the GetDeviceID function. A GetOwnerName function is also provided to retrieve the owner name stored on the device.

Evaluation Version Download

An evaluation version of this extension is available so you can try it out before deciding to purchase. To download an evaluation version of this extension, complete the Product Evaluation Request Form with your full address information. Eval version download instructions will be supplied upon completion of the request form. The evaluation versions of the extensions display a notice screen each time they are run, but do not time out. They are intended for internal testing use only and may not be distributed.

Site License Available
