SF-HTTP-PPC is an SFX plugin that allows SatForms for PocketPC applications to transfer data to and from an HTTP/HTTPS server, over a TCP/IP connection. It implements an HTTP/HTTPS client capable of GET and POST functions.

SF-HTTP-PPC enables you to send and receive data via HTTP/HTTPS over any TCP/IP connection on the PocketPC device, such as a dialup modem, CDMA/GPRS connection, or 802.11 wireless LAN. It uses the standard HTTP protocol and secure HTTPS protocol to communicate with most common HTTP servers.

NOTE: SF-HTTP-PPC is not a web browser! It does not interpret or display HTML formatting at all. It is an HTTP client for transferring data back and forth to a server over TCP/IP using the HTTP protocol.

It does support HTTP Basic Authentication (username and password), does support the secure HTTPS protocol, and does support downloading of binary files.

SF-HTTP-PPC supports the transfer of text data via GET and POST, and supports the transfer of binary files via a GETFILE method.

Evaluation Version Download
