ImportRecords is a plugin extension for PocketPC that enables you to import records from a Satellite Forms PDB that does not belong to the running app, into a table that is in the current app. That makes realtime data updates over TCPIP (for example by using the SF-HTTP-PPC extension to download a data table) quicker and easier.

The tables must have the identical structure of course. Imported records are created at the end of the existing table. Records are not deleted from the source import table. The advantage of this extension is that you can retrieve data from an external PDB file without having to close the currently running app.

Evaluation Version Download

An evaluation version of this extension is available so you can try it out before deciding to purchase. To download an evaluation version of this extension, complete the Product Evaluation Request Form with your full address information. Eval version download instructions will be supplied upon completion of the request form. The evaluation versions of the extensions display a notice screen each time they are run, but do not time out. They are intended for internal testing use only and may not be distributed.

Site License Available
